What personal data I collect and why I collect it

Contact forms and email correspondence

I assume that if you use a contact form on my website or email me then you are happy for me to have your relevant details, and to correspond with you about my services

You can ask me to stop contacting you and you can ask me to delete your information at any time.

Appointments

I keep the details necessary for your appointment, which can include your name, address, phone number, email address and card details.

Client records

I keep brief written records of client meetings. However, there is nothing in these notes to identify an individual.

This site uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. I take your privacy seriously and will never share your personal details with a third party without your permission.

How long I retain your data

I store email addresses and phone numbers confidentially for the purpose of contact during the time you are in therapy. I keep paper records for a period of 5 years in a locked file which is a requirement of my insurance. Once this period has passed all paper data will be destroyed.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How I protect your data

The data held on this website’s server are protected by very strong passwords.
Backups of this website are held in Amazon S3 secure storage.
Paper records are held securely under lock and key.
